Job title: Cloud Solutions Architect, £80, 000, Gold Partner 02.02.2017
​
A multi-award winning Microsoft Gold Partner specializing in offering total Microsoft Business Solutions across Europe is currently looking for an experienced Cloud Solutions Architect to join the team.
The role is London based with flexible working; largely based around a 60/40 home/client site split. In addition to a very generous £75,000 basic salary you will be privy immediately to a £5,000 car allowance, private healthcare, 25 days holiday + bank holidays and a generous pension scheme.
The purpose of the role is to drive the creation of cloud based business solutions and service built upon the Azure platform. You will be working alongside the CTO as well as the sales and delivery teams during the development of Cloud solutions and supporting customers and prospects with Microsoft Cloud adoption and strategic architecture discussion as an Enterprise Architect.
Successful applicants are likely to demonstrate the following;
*4-6 years experience in consulting or development in business applications
*3-5 years working with Azure, AWS or other cloud Vendors
Of course given the Client facing nature of the engagement it is important that you can demonstrate a high degree of insight and analytical skill as well as the ability to influence and negotiate.

Job title: Software Engineer – Codec Development 17.10.2016
Reporting To: Lead Engineer.
Location: Buckinghamshire, Just North of London
Salary: up to £59,000
Develop and maintain video codecs and associated signal processing software.
JOB PURPOSE:
You will be writing software for state-of-the art video-processing system-on-chip (SOC) devices designed in-house and used in advanced broadcast and telecoms equipment. The software you write will enable the next generation of exciting digital video broadcast and mobile internet video-on-demand services. The devices are highly parallel compute engines integrating multiple RISC processors; fully programmable DSP engines; and application-specific hardware accelerators to achieve unprec
edented performance and power efficiency.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
 Coding in C (sometimes C++) and/or low-level SIMD assembler.
 Software verification, development of test frameworks, and scripting test suites.
 Bug diagnosis and fixing.
 Developing and maintaining documentation.
 Participating in peer reviews.
 Working with team members using an agile methodology.
 Working with colleagues (internal customers) integrating codecs into applications.
 Contingent on level of experience, once knowledgeable on the machine and software architecture, taking requirements and developing designs for new software components.

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:
 A good degree in a numerate discipline.

o Development of embedded software for applications with hard real-time requirements.
o Real-time Digital Signal Processing (DSP) programming.
 Excellent high level design, coding and troubleshooting skills.
 Good mathematical, analytical or modelling skills.
 A solid understanding of software development approaches and knowledge of when and how to apply them successfully.
DESIRABLE SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:
 Awareness of hardware issues, from system architecture to detailed low-level issues.
 Appreciation of SIMD and DSP or VLIW computer architectures.
 Experience of functional coverage or metric-driven verification methodologies.
 Proficient with source code control tools such as subversion.
 Development experience of any block-based video codec such as MPEG-2, H.264, or HEVC.

Job Title Applications Engineer – Imaging & Android 17.08.2016
Salary: £65,000 + benefits
Location: Cambridge.
A new project is about to commence, working with one of our key customers, operating in the design and manufacture of next generation mobile devices. We are recruiting a new team which will work closely with our customers, supporting the integration of multimedia solutions in cellular/embedded products.
YOUR BACKGROUND
You will have good technical skills and a broad range of experience to enable you to support the customer at all stages of a project, including: system design, hardware bring-up, software customization, porting, debugging and testing. You will have good communications skills and be able to represent the company in a professional manner at all times.

There could be some travel with the role, potentially on an international basis and you must be prepared to travel away from home for up to ten days at a time, sometimes at short notice. You will need to have a flexible attitude, and be comfortable in the presence of customers and working in pressurized situations, with tight deadlines to project delivery. You should have a good Electronic Engineering or Embedded Software background, or similar, with specific knowledge of:
 Imaging/Photography,
